2. Description of Service

Hoofflix is an educational platform providing video courses, webinars, podcasts, and articles focused on farriery and equine hoof care. Our Service includes:

  • Video-based educational courses
  • Live and recorded webinars
  • Podcasts and audio content
  • Articles and written resources
  • Certificates of completion
  • CPD (Continuing Professional Development) tracking

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

4.2 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan). Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support@hoofflix.co.uk within 14 days of purchase if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content on Hoofflix, including videos, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
  • Use our content for commercial purposes
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Download or record videos (except as explicitly permitted)

6. User Conduct

When using our Service, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Upload or transmit harmful content (malware, spam, etc.)
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

  • Use automated systems to access the Service (bots, scrapers)

7. Certificates

Certificates issued by Hoofflix represent completion of educational content on our platform. They do not constitute professional certification, licensing, or qualification. Any CPD points claimed should be verified with the relevant professional body.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Educational content is for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice, training, or hands-on experience. Always consult qualified professionals for specific situations.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOOFFLIX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hoofflix and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
